PONTON RAFTS FOR BOATS
The rafts are made of elements of dimensions 5,50 x 2,75 x 0,20m.The mass of one element will be appr. 500 kg. Freeboards of the raft will be between 150 and 170 mm. Under the edge loading of 100 kg/m2 , the total change of the trim will not be more than 100 mm (50 mm by the side) The elements of the raft are be able to connect mutually on all four sides, by the polyethylene tubes and steel stretching screws. This system of connection is flexibile and it will enable the motion of elements of the raft due to waves on loading. The same polyethylene tube is used as the rubbin strip.
The connection of the raft with the bridge and the bridge with the shore will be performed by means of strong hinges. The anchoring of the raft will be by means of the chain of the link diameter of 8 mm and concrete pendtants of the mass of 250 kg. The raft jacket will performed from the reinforced polyester (the used pigment will be UV stable) Threading area will be made rough by strewing of quartz-sand and coating of resin. The cavity of the elements will be filled with rigid polyurethan foam of the approx. density of 40 kg/m3 All steel parts will be galvanized on hot. Calculation of resistance and stability are especially dealt with.
The LIGHTING BUOY type NP-17
The assignment of the Buoy P-17 is marking the maritime navigational routes in the protected part, coastal belt, at the depths of 5 to 25 metres, with the possibility of application to 49 metres of depth. The hull of the buoy is made of glass reinforced plastic and filled with the polyurethane foam for easier maintenance but also for the increased security in case of collision. The lower part of the hull is cut in such a way that the chain does not obstruct the placement of the Buoy on a flat surface (deck).
Two watertight tanks for the storage batteries are inserted into the hull. The connection between the hull and the deck is protected by rubbing strip serving as a protection against smaller impacts while putting in the Buoy or while lifting the same. A column of glass reinforced plastic carrying solar and security equipment is fastened to the deck by bolts. The Buoy is anchored through the hawse bolster which is placed at the bottom of the hull. The diameter and length of the anchor chain should be in accordance with the prescriptions for anchoring. The lifting of the Buoy is enabled through one of the two suspended eyes on the deck which are connected with the hawse bolster through two sheets in such a way that the lifting force and the anchoring force are better distributed along the hull of the Buoy. All materials applied in the making of the Buoy will be of approved type, resistant to the activity of the sea environment , taking into consideration the importance of the maritime marks for the security of navigation and a longer period of activity of the Buoy without control. Testing materials and their making is envisaged according to the rules of the HRB.
