On 15 November 2008, launching ceremony of the police patrol ship “Sveti Nikola Tavelić” took place at the premises of “Montmontaža-Greben” Shipyard, followed by the delivery of the same ship and the two police patrol boats “Sveti Vlaho” and “Sveti Šimun”.

The ships were contracted for the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia and are intended for the state border and territorial sea surveillance. The Ministry invested 32.5 million Croatian kunas in the production of these ships that were taken over by the Minister of the Interior Tomislav Karamarko.
“Sveti Nikola Tavelić”, “Sveti Vlaho” and “Sveti Šimun” are completely designed and built by “Montmontaža-Greben’s” engineers and skilled workers, with the following characteristics:

This type of craft is primarily intended for the surveillance of the state border and territorial sea of the Republic of Croatia, including monitoring, tracking and control of ships and boats.
